Frontier Twirlers Square Dance Club The Colwood Community Hall has been declared a "No Scents" building. Please be kind and come to our events scent free! The Frontier Twirlers are primarily a Mainstream Square Dance Club with one Round Dance cued in between each Square Dance tip. We enjoy modern western square dancing and believe that dancing is Friendship Set to Music. We dance at the Colwood Community Hall, 2219 Sooke Road, Colwood, BC. We encourage visitors and would love to have you come out and join us for a dance. Our start up dance in the fall is the 3rd Saturday of September and our season wind up is the 1st Saturday of May. Other than those dates the club dances on the First (1st) and Third (3rd) Saturdays of each month. Our dances begin at 7:30 PM with Plus dancing followed by Mainstream dancing at 8:00 PM and ending at 10:00 PM. On Special Dance night we end at 9:45 PM. The cost for each dance is $6.00 per person. We have designed this site as an ongoing means of communication and we welcome your suggestions. Directions to the Colwood Hall (Map) From downtown Victoria take Highway #1 toward Nanaimo, take Exit 10, follow the exit road past Colwood Corners to 2219 Sooke Road (Hwy 14) beside the Dairy Queen. From Duncan take the Sooke exit onto Veterans' Memorial Highway, follow Veterans Memorial Highway to Sooke Road, turn left and follow past the Metchosin Road intersection to 2219 Sooke Road.
